What is the eligibility of TGT Home Science?
The eligibility criteria for TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) in Home Science varies depending on the specific state and recruiting body but the basic eligibility for tgt home science is graduate in Home Science and B.Ed.
What is the eligibility of PGT Home Science?
The eligibility criteria for PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) in Home Science varies depending on the specific state and recruiting body but the basic eligibility for pgt home science is Post graduate in Home Science and B.Ed.
What is the eligibility of UGC NET Home Science?
UGC NET exam is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The eligibility criteria for UGC NET Home Science exam has been given below:
Educational Qualification:
- A Master’s degree in Home Science from a UGC-recognized university or college.
Minimum Marks:
- The minimum marks is required depending on category of the students:
- UR candidates: at least 55% aggregate marks in your Master’s degree (without rounding off).
- SC, ST, and OBC (Non-creamy Layer) candidates: at least 50% aggregate marks in your Master’s degree (without rounding off).
Completion of Master’s Degree (if awaiting results):
- Any Student who has not completed his master degree and is pursuing it, can still apply for the exam subject to certain conditions such as he/she must complete his/her degree within two years from the date of the NET exam and achieve the required percentage of marks, failure to do so will cancel his/ her result, even if he/she cleared the UGC NET exam.
What is the eligibility for Assistant Professor Home Science?
It depends on the institutes/ university but basic eligibility for the post is master degree with NET or SET passed certificates. Candidates having Ph.D. are preferred at interview stage. Some universities and institutes give extra marks for PhD.
